I can honestly say that I was never the girl who had her wedding planned in her head. That just wasn't me. Now, older and wiser, I have some ideas. Earlier this week, I heard an old song for the first time in years. But, this time, the lyrics spoke to me in a way that they never could have before. I've been a fan of Amel Larrieux's since her Groove Theory days. Her voice is soothing to me. This song is right up there with "For Real" & "No One Else" as far as favorites go. It just touches me so deeply. I mean, she thanks his mother for giving birth to him. What? How amazing is that? This song will forever hold a place in my heart.
