I love to talk. Communication is a big deal. But, there are times when I just like to be quiet and still. It's not about being upset or feeling down. I am just ok with myself. I can sit in silence and just enjoy my own company. There is a great deal of satisfaction in that. This kind of hints at my blog about self dating. There is definitely beauty in those quiet moments. I live for the silent moments. There is nothing better than sitting in complete silence with someone and not feeling at all uncomfortable. That is an amazing thing.
I believe that silence is golden. It gives me time to work through things in my mind. When I'm quiet, I'm usually in thought. But there are those moments when my silence is nothing more than that. I wished more people would get into the silence movement. Every random thought does not need to be spoken. Thinking before one speaks would save most in the long run. Words mean something. Silence protects us. Not speaking is always a smart choice as well. Silence is golden indeed.
Being told you're beautiful is a compliment every woman can appreciate, especially when it's random. But, even better than that is being told you're beautiful by the person who is in love with you. Beauty is physical as well as internal to me. There is something to be said about seeing a person's beautiful soul. Sometimes there are songs that just capture that feeling. Musiq's "So Beautiful" does just that. The lyrics describe a beautiful love story about a man knowing what he wants. It's also about a man choosing his woman's beautiful soul over and over again. I LOVED this the minute I saw it. To create means "to cause to come into being, as something unique that would not naturally evolve or that is not made by ordinary processes or to evolve from one's own thought or imagination, as a work of art or an invention." It is what i do every day I write, blog, and whenever I let poetry spill out of me. I am a creative being. I do not know how to be or do anything else. It is the talent that I was born with. I also happen to love the word "create." It is such a small but beautiful word. It's meaning is so much bigger than the diminutive of its actually spelling. Whenever you can, you should create. It's a wonderful feeling to be a creative being. To know that whatever it is, came from you, your mind, and your hands. How wonderful is that?
