This edition of "Ladies Love Lyrics" is slightly different. I decided to step out of my r&B/Hip-Hop box for this pick. I do not know anything about the Rascal Flatts. Until I heard this song "Bless The Broken Road," I could not name one song by this group. I discovered this song on a random blog read. This song speaks to me on so many levels. It's a song about all the roads traveled that finally lead you to your one true love. I love everything about it. For me, music is the best when I can identify with it personally.
My favorite lines are "That God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you." How dope is that? I know that I can be very biased when it comes to love songs because of where I am in my life. But, to be perfectly honest, I have always had a extremely soft spot for good love songs. "Bless The Broken Road" truly falls into that category for me. I could listen to this song forever. It's that good to me. The Rascal Flatts have a new found fan in me. I will be looking into more of their music. Listen and enjoy!
